RankdResume ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered resume building and career preparation platform that helps candidates create standout resumes, improve their skills, and prepare for interviews.

2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the service:
Name and email address when you register
Resume content (PDF text) uploaded for AI analysis and optimization
Subscription and payment status (card details are handled by Razorpay)
Product usage data such as features used and tests taken
We do not collect passwords in plain text or sensitive personal financial/health information.
3. How We Use Your Data
Analyse and score your resume using AI
Generate resume improvements and optimization suggestions
Create knowledge tests and interview prep content
Manage your account and subscription
Send important service updates
We do not use your data for advertising or unrelated profiling.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Limited sharing occurs only when required for service delivery:
Razorpay for subscription payment processing
AI processing used to generate resume insights
Infrastructure providers (Railway / Vercel) that host the platform
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request account and data deletion anytime at privacy@rankdresume.com, and we process requests within 30 days.
Uploaded resumes can also be deleted from your profile.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are handled securely and we follow industry-standard practices to protect data access.
7. Your Rights
You can request to:
Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and data
Withdraw consent by deleting your account

8. Cookies
RankdResume does not use advertising/tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage for authentication in the web app.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of RankdResume means acceptance of updated terms.
